Jim grew up in Nottingham, England. From an early age he started to appreciate art, and after studying art and design at college he continued to explore various mediums.

Now living in Northern Ireland, he is surrounded by inspiration from the landscapes and coast, especially with the ever changing weather and beautiful skies.

Fascinated with the visual drama of space and distance, Jim now focuses on bold expressions capturing the landscape using oil on canvas.
